Wedding Day!
Jul. 6th, 2019 07:20 amWho: Barry, Cisco, and their friends and family
What: It's finally wedding day!
Where: Ceremony in the park, Reception at the Speedster House
When: 7/6
The day is finally here. After almost a year of engagement, an unplanned absence, a pair of twins, and too many near-death experiences, Cisco and Barry are finally getting married. They hadn't wanted to make too big a fuss over it, more concerned with the 'getting married' part than with the 'how' of it. All that really mattered to them was their loved ones being close.
The Ceremony
The grooms had opted for suit jackets over their favorite nerdy t-shirts (Star Wars for Cisco, Star Trek for Barry), giving a softer, less formal vibe to the wedding. The only truly traditional thing about it was the bouquet that Barry and Cisco had joked about throwing at Savitar in a loving mockery of the Bridal Bouquet Toss in most weddings. (If it finds its way into Wanda or Nick's hands instead, well. Cisco doesn't actually want his brother-in-law to hate him.) The sun is bright and warm, though there's an occasional breeze that keeps it from getting too hot. Allison had kindly agreed to officiate for them, which had rounded out all the wedding necessities. That just leaves the actual "getting married" part.
The Reception
Teary-eyed and beaming, the Allen-Ramons invite their guests back to their home for the reception. It's nothing fancy, but the home-made food and comfortable setting make for a fitting ending to one of the best days of their lives. Hang out a while!
